- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Higgins is one of my top Big Island discoveries. She and her highly competent staff are superb professionals and listeners that foster a stress-free environment. Not every medical appointment is fun, but everyone in the office works hard to make it so. Dr. Higgins' educational background and level of competence is truly impressive. You know she cares -- you can tell from the sparkle in her eye. And her down-to-earth explanations of physiology and biology are helpful, understandable, and expressed so that the "average bear" (that would be me) gets it.
